Alex Yiokarinis began his legal career in 2002 and specializes in assisting those who have been accused of crimes in all courts in New Hampshire. Alex is a compassionate, caring, and genuine attorney with real trial experience and life experience. He recognizes that while he may have numerous clients, his client has but one attorney.
His early experience was in the areas of small business, corporations and LLCs, insurance defense and civil litigation at a medium-sized New Hampshire law firm. From there, Alex served as a Public Defender in the Office of the Rockingham County Public Defender. After serving the public in that capacity for several years, Alex ran a practice of his own for many years, during which time he continued representing the criminally accused but also prepared estate plans, helped people form new businesses, and litigated landlord-tenant disputes.
Alex returned to public service and worked as Assistant County Attorney for Hillsborough County in Manchester. He worked in the state’s busiest prosecution office, preparing for every aspect of felony trial cases from indictments to trials. Additionally, Alex served as the juvenile law specialist addressing legal issues associated with the prosecution of underage persons accused of serious felony crimes. During his time at the County Attorney, Alex prosecuted cases spanning from theft to AFSA to First Degree Assaults involving firearms and Negligent Homicide.
Justice of the Peace – Alex is a New Hampshire Justice of the Peace and has performed dozens of ceremonies for couples all over the state.
During his legal career, Alex has served as adjunct professor of Business Law and Business Ethics at several local community colleges.
